As a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Health Science (Honors) in Nursing at Tung Wah College, I believe my versatile skillset and qualifications make me an ideal candidate for this role. My academic background of practicing patient caretaking and effective conversation has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and aptitude to thrive in this position.
As a potential part time staff, I can offer the following valuable qualities:
Capable of effective interpersonal communication: Academically speaking, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with diverse individuals on multiple group projects. This has honed my ability to adapt to different team dynamics and interpersonal communication skills either one-on-one or in a group setting to facilitate successful group work. Occupationally speaking, my previous working experience at Smartech (Int) Marketing Limited required me to answer customers' inquiries both face-to-face and through phone calls. Also, with the necessity of persuading customers to purchase products, I believe that my social skills are well-trained and are well-suited for occupations that indispensably face clients constantly.
Multitasking and Time Management: Striving for a balance between a packed academic schedule and various extracurricular activities has been a long-lasting mission since the start of my academic journey. Adequate time management and multitasking ability is essential in achieving such equilibrium. Yet, these two components had been put to the test during my participation in big events like The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo as well as the Home Delight Expo organized by HKTDC as booth keeper. Delivering product information accurately while answering enquiries from another customer at the same time exhibits a highly stressful situation. Yet, my success in these events demonstrated my capacity to excel under pressure, thus capability of multitasking.
