Introduction
I am a graduate from the University of Hong Kong, double majoring in Translation and Linguistics, minoring in German. Currently I am doing my Master Studies in Linguistics in the University of Hamburg, Germany. I have possessed more than 6 years of experience in professional language studies of Chinese and English, together with 3 years of experience in German. Through the past years subsequent to graduation from my bachelor degree, I have been actively taking part in translation work in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, including a 20000-word photo book called 'Dear Hong Kong' published in 2020.
I have also been involved in leading roles in social advocacy and content writing in the Hong Kong community. Since 2018 I have been the cofounder of Heart To Heart (Mental Health) Foundation, a social enterprise aspiring to promote mental health and reduce psychiatric stigma in the community. I have organized events with NGOs & universities to reach over 30,000 audiences and led over 50 team members in organizing events and devise social media strategies. My company is still expanding and looking for new business progressions.
Apart from that, I had one-year experience in the Sustainability Department of a large property conglomerate in Hong Kong in 2019. It equips me with thorough understanding and proficiency in ESG-related knowledge and business practices in both Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
Being familiar with Chinese public examination systems in Asia with over 6 years of experience in private tutoring and tutoring in schools, I have tutored over 100 students from primary and secondary schools and plenty of them had attained splendid academic results.
