Introduction
Hello! I’m a dedicated and experienced English tutor who has recently returned to Hong Kong after over a decade of studying overseas since 2013.
I completed my high school education in the United States, followed by my undergraduate degree and two Master’s degrees in the United Kingdom. Having lived and studied in both academic systems, I am highly familiar with international curricula and fluent in academic English across reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I achieved an overall band score of 8.0 in IELTS, and I am confident in supporting students who are preparing for exams or aiming to strengthen their academic English skills.
Professionally, I work full-time as a Senior ABA Supervisor, specialising in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) aged 2–13. My background in Applied Behaviour Analysis has equipped me with strong skills in:
Structured lesson planning
Behaviour management strategies
Individualised learning plans
Patience and positive reinforcement techniques
Building confidence in young learners
This allows me to tailor lessons according to each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring engaging, effective, and goal-oriented sessions.
What I Offer:
Phonics and foundational English (Early learners)
Primary & Secondary school English support
Academic writing & grammar strengthening
IELTS preparation
Speaking confidence & presentation skills
Support for SEN learners (non-aggressive cases)
For home-based sessions, I currently accept general education students and SEN learners who do not present aggressive behaviours, to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
I am responsible, patient, and passionate about helping students build not only strong language skills but also confidence and independent learning habits. My international education background combined with my professional SEN experience allows me to offer structured yet encouraging lessons that truly support each child’s growth.
I look forward to supporting your child’s learning journey!
